I’m commonly known by the name of Raluca Băraru.

I see myself as a woman of few words and many ghosts, visual ghosts of course, and an illustrator with an insatiable appetite for aesthetic spookiness.

How does it work? Well… you take a spoonful of spook, add a pinch of reality, take a sip and then regurgitate it back in the big beautiful Nowhere, aka Nicăieri.

You might be wondering where this conspicuous Nicăieri is located. Let me ease your mind and reveal that it resides temporarily in Bucharest, Romania, a peculiar spot on the Earth where I dribbled as a art director for almost a decade and cherished the drooling love of some of the most awesome dogs in the universe.
