Trickster Dancers

Back in the 80’s one of Romania’s favourite card games was “The Trickster”. The card deck was made of couples from different countries dressed in their traditional costumes and kids (myself included) were fascinated by them. Recently a group of artists came up with the initiative of reviving “The Trickster” in a “Playing Arts” manner, each artist with their interpretation of the chosen pair. I went for the Czech couple because their axe dance has got my creative juices flowing from the first time I laid eyes on them.
